Each Friday, we feature a reader-submitted tip as our Travel Tip of the Day. This week’s tip comes from reader Tom, who shared this story of a puppy found in a Las Vegas airport bathroom:
“Take a second look when you go to an airport (or any) bathroom. You might save a life! The link talks about someone abandoning their dog because they couldn’t take it with them and get the animal veterinarian care, never mind the bigger issue that she was escaping an abusive relationship (according to the note). It could equally apply to someone abandoning their child in an airport.”
In this case, the puppy (“Chewy”) has been put up for adoption—and hopefully, he’ll find a better home. Thanks, Tom!
