What To Know About The Best Business Cards for Airline Miles

Airline miles are usually the most valuable credit card reward points you can redeem. This is especially true if you can transfer them directly to an airline and save them for business or first-class cabin tickets. Also, many of the cards listed are also some of the best credit cards for startups and are generally on some of the ‘best’ lists, including the best small business credit cards available.

Most of these cards offer point transfers and travel redemption bonuses. They also make it easy to earn bonus miles on common purchases and add extra value to the card.

The Business Platinum from American Express

The Business Platinum Card® from American Express is the quickest way to earn the most miles when buying airfare. You get 5x Membership Rewards® points on all flights and hotels you book on AmexTravel.com.

You get 35% of your redeemed points back (up to 500,000 points per year) when booking any flight on the airline of your choice or a premium cabin seat on most airlines. Your points might be worth more by transferring them to 1:1 Membership Rewards airline partners, including Delta, Emirates, British Airways, or Singapore Airlines.

Cardholders earn 1.5x points (that’s an extra half point per dollar) on eligible purchases at US construction material, hardware suppliers, electronic goods retailers, and software & cloud system providers, and shipping providers, as well as on purchases of $5,000 or more everywhere else, on up to $2 million of these purchases per calendar year.

Additionally, unlock over $1,000 in annual statement credits on a curation of business purchases, including select purchases made with Dell Technologies, Indeed, Adobe, and U.S. wireless service providers.

Plus, get up to $200 in statement credits per calendar year for incidental fees charged by your one selected, qualifying airline to your Card.
