This card, the Wells Fargo Propel American Express® Card, is the best of the Wells Fargo credit cards. It’s easy to earn rewards points on your daily purchases and you won’t pay an annual fee or foreign transaction fee.

However, travelers can benefit the most from this card as your points can be worth 50% more than cash rewards by redeeming your points for airfare.

On top of the bonus points, you will also earn unlimited 3x points per $1 on these purchases:

  • Eating out and ordering in
  • Gas stations, rideshares, and transit
  • Travel including flights, hotels, homestays, and car rentals
  • Popular streaming services like Hulu, Netflix, and Spotify

All other eligible purchases earn 1x point per $1 spent.

Redemption Options

You can redeem your rewards for travel, cash, and gift cards. But your points are worth 50% more when booking flights with points. For example, 50,000 points are worth $750 in air travel but only $500 for cash rewards. Keep in mind these are impressive rewards options for a card without an annual fee.
