Each Friday, we feature a reader-submitted tip as our Travel Tip of the Day. This week’s tip comes from reader Sheryle A., who sticks with this week’s cruise theme by saying:

“We book our cabin at the opposite end of the ship from the dining venues. On our last cruise, our dining room was a quarter of a mile from our room. Another way to burn off calories from all that yummy food.”

Reminds me of my best cruise tip, which can also help burn off calories. Thanks, Sheryle!

Sheryle is right on. In addition to providing exercise, you can cut down on the volume of traffic and noise right outside your cabin as passengers migrate toward the dining venues.
