I recently attended the Canada Media Marketplace in San Francisco, where I picked up all kinds of great Canada-related tips for our readers. First of all, Canada is still a huge bargain for Americans. Since $1 US = $1.29 CAD, everything is basically 25% off.
In addition, in 2018 Parks Canada is offering free admission to people aged 17 and under (here’s more info) to all Parks Canada places. That includes the country’s national parks (like Banff, above) and all places listed here. Visitors can use the Parks Canada mobile app (available for free on Android and iOS) to obtain detailed information and interactive maps to help plan a trip.
So what are you waiting for? Jump in your car or get on a plane and visit our friends north of the border!

Somewhere in this article you wrote: “First of all, Canada is still a huge bargain for Americans.”.Please remeber that Canada is in America. As you very well know, America extends from Alaska to Tierra del fuego.
