Each Friday, we feature a reader-submitted tip as our Travel Tip of the Day. This week’s tip come from reader Tim from Los Angeles, who says:
“I recently flew Delta LAX>ATL>CDG. Upon arriving at CDG I checked my Delta app and saw my bag was ‘at carousel.’ But after watching everyone grab their bags, clearly it wasn’t. Was it lost, stolen? When I switched to my laptop from my phone I got the real story: It was at carousel at ATL. It was still in Atlanta but the Delta app didn’t bother to tell me. It would have been nice to have a nine-hour headstart retrieving it. Tip: Don’t rely on the Delta app for luggage info.”
