Each Friday, we feature a reader-submitted tip as our Travel Tip of the Day. This week’s tip comes from reader Gary M., who, following Tuesday’s tip, shares another way to find out how old the plane you’re flying on is:

“An even easier method is to just enter the tail number of your aircraft into the search window of your browser.”

Thanks, Gary!

Since I am a fearful flyer, I’m not sure I’d want to know that information.
What is the reason people would need to know the age of the plane they are flying on?
