Free meals for active and retired military personnel for ThanksgivingLike last year, active and retired U.S. military personnel are being offered free meals and snacks at airports over the extended Thanksgiving weekend. And like last year, Harriet Baskas of Stuck at the Airport has the details.

Management company Delaware North’s slate of offers includes discounts and free full meals at 11 airports. “In addition,” says Harriet, “20 restaurants operated by Paradies Lagardère in 10 North American airports will offer active or retired military to a free meal through its Food and Beverage Division’s Treat Our Troops program during Thanksgiving weekend, Thursday, November 23, through Sunday, November 26.”

Check out Harriet’s story for the full list of offers, restaurants and airports.

They sooooooo deserve it…I just wish more would take advantage. Perhaps a free ride needed to the feast & backk ? We need to offer that as well to our heroes.
    Happy holidays to all !
