Thinking of traveling to Milan this year? One of the city’s three international airports, Milan Linate (LIN), will be closed for renovations for a good chunk of late summer and fall. From the U.K.’s travel advisory page for Italy:

“Milan Linate airport will be closed from 27 July to 27 October 2019 for improvement work. The most convenient airports for Milan and the surrounding areas during this time will be Milan Malpensa and Bergamo Orio al Serio.”

Both Milan Malpensa and Bergamo Orio al Serio airports serve more passengers than Linate does, so there will still be plenty of opportunities to fly to Milan, but travelers in the region will be affected. Here’s a map of the destinations Linate flies to/from.
