More comfortable flightEach Friday, we feature a reader-submitted tip as our Travel Tip of the Day. This week’s tip comes from reader Fran K., who says:

“Whenever I can, I travel using Premium Economy (Economy Plus, etc.). When this is not possible, I select a seat on this aisle, and select a seat behind behind my husband (also) on the aisle. This assures me that I will not have an unknown person pushing back his/her seat in front of me.”

If you don’t mind that you don’t get to sit with your flying partner, this could be a good option. Thanks, Fran!

if you have the person you know in front you can always communicate with regard to seat adjustment. And you can always keep the conversation going throughout the journey
