Ojai, California, is one of many California towns damaged by fire in the past year. The Thomas Fire raged through many of its homes and businesses in late 2017, but the official word I received yesterday is that the town of Ojai is fire-free! Thanks to the efforts of firefighters, first responders and others from the community, Ojai is now turning its attention to a joint tourism-recovery initiative it’s calling Ojai Love.
From January to March, stays at a selection of local hotels will be 10% off and trigger automatic $10 donations to town recovery efforts. Ojai is a great town, and this is an idea worth supporting. Read more about how to book/help here.
