For many couples, the honeymoon is a once-in-a-lifetime travel experience. But not, perhaps, for all! A new contest from Barclays—the Go Again and Again contest—promises to deliver one winning couple the chance to relive, scene by scene, their honeymoon, wherever in the world it took them. Bali (which was part of Johnny’s and Natalie’s honeymoon), Italy, Napa Valley, the Seychelles, Antarctica…wherever it is that you went at that special moment in your shared life, you can visit again.
Fittingly, the contest is presented by Barclays Arrival® Premier World Elite Mastercard®, one of the great travel rewards cards out there. Why so? Quickly: In addition to coming with no foreign transaction fees (in U.S. dollars) and chip/PIN capability, it offers cardmembers a return of 2X miles with every purchase, a chance to earn up to 25,000 loyalty bonus miles (on top of the 2x/purchase miles) each year, a Global Entry fee reimbursement credit every five years (Global Entry status must be reapplied for every five years), access to over 850 lounges worldwide with Mastercard® Airport Experience provided by LoungeKey, and more. The card makes travel easier. Just like the contest…
How to enter:
You need to have taken a honeymoon (of course), and then, on this page, you must:
- Upload a photo (GIF, PNG or JPEG) from that honeymoon
- Answer in 100 words or less this question: “Why do you want to go back to your honeymoon destination?”
- Fill out some basic details (name, your spouse’s name and a contact email address)
And that’s that. It’s all on the contest homepage.
Who can enter:
The contest is open to all married couples in which both parties are at least 21-years old and legal residents of one the fifty (50) U.S. states, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico. Importantly, you don’t have to be a Barclays cardmember to win.
The contest began on June 4, 2018, at 12am ET and will be open to submissions through June 30, 2018, at 11:59:59pm ET.
A list of official rules can be found here. Notably, the trip value is capped at $15,000, plus (from the rules page): “a tax assistance check in the amount of 30% of the actual value of the prize (up to a maximum of $4,500).”
More, from us and Barclays:
“Barclays believes the honeymoon phase shouldn’t be just once-in-a-lifetime,” said Rachana Bhatt, managing director, U.S. Branded Card Business, Barclays. “Imagine instead a honeymoon life – where relaxing getaways and credit card bonuses are meant to last. Barclays Arrival Premier rekindles the romance with loyalty bonuses, year after year, so cardmembers spend less time reminiscing and more time reliving.”
