I rarely wear shorts on the plane, because planes and airports are usually freezing. But this Reader’s Digest article lists another and more important reason to not wear shorts on a plane. From the story: “Try to wear clothing that covers skin that could touch your seat. Like other parts of the plane, the seats aren’t cleaned between flights and could be places where germs hide.”
