lambI’m not a lamb eater. In fact, it’s one of my least favorite foods. And after seeing a recent report from Inside EditionSome Restaurants With Lamb On The Menu Are Mixing It With Cheaper Meat, Investigation Finds—that’s not changing. It appears that unless you’re eating a lambchop, there’s a chance that the lamb you’re being served is something much cheaper like goat or beef, especially when it’s shredded. Not all restaurants are scamming you, of course, but it’s a good thing to be aware of when you travel!

    I think they have solved this in the middle east (at least Saudi). The menus have a choice of chicken or meat. Normally meat is lamb here but you randomly get beef or a mix of whatever

    You refer to this article and yet, they do not use the names of the food vendor(s) in NYC nor LA even though they have the lab tests. It does a disservice to the customer when the names are not disclosed.

      Agreed. They should mention them but I guess they are afraid of being sued.
