Travel App of the Week: EasyMeasure

EasyMeasureHow many times have you been on the road and needed a tape measure or ruler but didn’t have one handy? Maybe you’ve needed one to see if a piece of furniture you’re going to buy will fit in your house, or if the airline’s seat pitch is really what they say it is (I carry one in my bag for that very reason).

EasyMeasure—which is free for iOS and Android—lets you point your smartphone or tablet camera at any object and see the object’s dimensions on the screen. Pretty cool, eh?

H/T to Kim Komando.

  1. Here’s one more useful app that can measure distances and sizes of objects – Spyglass. It’s a great toolkit for different purposes. It’s also crammed with all that necessary data like gps coordinates, current azimuth, altitude, speed, potential arrival time to your target and much more. https://itunes.apple.com/app/spyglass/id332639548?mt=8&at=11lLc7&ct=c

  2. Yeah, except Spyglass costs $4.00.
