Travel App of the Week: FirePlace

FirePlaceSo my wife and I were having dinner the other night at the Chart House in Waikiki and when we were walking out, I noticed the table next to us had a phone on the table with a fireplace app. I’ve seen the fireplace channel (and aquarium channel) before, which I think is kind of cool, but I’d never really thought about the possibility of app. I personally think it’s kind of ridiculous to use it at a restaurant where everyone can see you but it could be cool somewhere private. Nothing wrong with cozying up with the warm glow and crackle of a roaring fire on your iOS or Android device. And the best part—besides it being free—is you don’t have to chop wood!
