Travel App of the Week: Magnifying Glass With Light

Magnifying Glass With Light

Magnifying Glass With Light

My dad couldn’t read a restaurant’s menu the other night because: a) The print was way too small, and b) It was too dark. I could barely read the text myself, and I’m half his age. I figured there had to be an app out there to help—since there’s pretty much one for everything—and sure enough, there is!

It appears Magnifying Glass With Light is only available on iOS but I’m sure Android has a similar one. But those with an iPhone or iPad will love that this app is free and easy to use. Just open Magnifying Glass With Light, point your phone’s camera at the menu or whatever else you want to read, move the on-screen slider, and voilá: You’ll have large, easy-to-read text, just like that.
