Travel App of the Week: FastCustomer

FastCustomerNo one wants to be on hold—now, during the holidays, or ever. Well, FastCustomer has came up with a way to keep people from wasting all those hours on the phone with terrible hold music.

The app—which is free for iPhone, Android, Kindle and Google Chrome—lets you select the company you’re trying to call from its directory, and it will wait on hold for you. Once a customer service rep picks up, your phone will ring and you can jump on the call. Of course, not every company, and specifically every travel company, is available through its directory, but you can help it grow by suggesting companies to be added.

H/T to Kim Komando.
