The AlchemistI recently stumbled upon a post on the most popular travel books, and “The Alchemist” by Paul Coelho was close to the top. This 25th anniversary edition came out in 2014 and has a 4.5-star rating (out of 5) on Amazon.com (rated by over 9,000 users)! That’s incredible.

“The Alchemist” is regarded as a modern classic and is, per Amazon, “a mystical story of Santiago, an Andalusian shepherd boy who yearns to travel in search of a worldly treasure. His quest will lead him to riches far different—and far more satisfying—than he ever imagined. Santiago’s journey teaches us about the essential wisdom of listening to our hearts, of recognizing opportunity and learning to read the omens strewn along life’s path, and, most importantly, to follow our dreams.”

I haven’t read it yet but I plan to one day. Have you read it? Do you recommend it?

Grab it: Grab “The Alchemist” from $11.01 on Amazon here.
