WalletA few months ago we featured a cool travel wallet that was large enough to hold a passport. The only thing that Bellroy wallet was missing was RFID-blocking technology.

RFID stands for radio-frequency identification, and new passports are made with these chips in them so they can wirelessly use electromagnetic fields to transfer data. The problem with RFID chips is that identity thieves can steal your information from them if you aren’t careful. I keep my passport in a pocket with this type of technology but I know some people that wrap theirs in aluminum foil.

If you want something a little bit classier, check out the Allett KeepSafe RFID Passport Wallet. They are handmade in the USA (San Diego) by the Allett family and wallets are available in either classic leather or soft-tech nylon. Prices start at $49.95.

Great beg for Passpost but I wouldn’t want to carry around my passport everywhere I go, there might be a risk to lose it. Try Cascade Wallet by mani Wonders. Small, compacked and easy to use with RFID protection.
