Travel Product of the Week: Aquaviz

AquavizDo you wear contact lenses and find it a problem when you snorkel, scuba or ski or snowboard? If so, check this out: Aquaviz has created a line of sports masks made specifically for lens-wearers. The company boasts a only-one-of-its-kind approach and offers a custom prescription insert that can be moved between the Aquaviz dive, swim and snow masks.

The snap-in inserts are made exactly to the user’s prescription and can even be done as bifocals, varifocals or polarized tinted. It’s a much smarter and more affordable alternative to buying three different “prescription masks” that cost more and are typically not custom prescriptions anyway.

Aquaviz masks start at $69, which includes the prescription insert and a protective carrying pouch for easy packing. A package with all three masks plus inserts and a case starts at $158.
