Selfie stickOn my August trip to southeast Asia, I saw how huge selfie sticks are becoming there and since then, I’ve seen them making their way to the US. Selfie sticks are telescopic poles that help people take better selfies have been around for years, but have just recently taken off—so much so that South Korea just banned unregulated ones. I’ve had one sitting on my desk for well over a year now and still haven’t found the courage to take it out of its packaging, but if you or someone you know is looking to take a better selfie, it might be a great gift (or even a gag gift). Check out the selection on Amazon here.

I’m like you, I just suddenly noticed them everywhere. They seem to be a big craze at the moment especially for iPhone owners. I guess it is a cheaper alternative than getting a GoPro which are out of many people’s budgets.
