Phone alarmBack-Up Wake-Up Calls
You can’t solely rely on the hotel for a wake-up call, especially if it’s for a really important call or call time that you just can’t miss. Mistakes happen so don’t take any chances. Always carry an alarm or learn how to use the one on your smartphone. These days, I only use my phone alarm for my wake-up call and it hasn’t failed me yet.

    I missed a flight because I relied on the hotel wake up call. (my stupidity though)Now I would never trust any hotel to get me up.

    Be careful to check that your phone is on the time zone where you are to wake up. Especially on a cruise.
