Bring a Backup Phone
Yesterday’s tip was about getting a LifeProof case to protect your iPhone. In that tip, I mentioned that when I dropped and destroyed my iPhone on a biking tour in Austria, I would have been without a phone for the rest of my multi-country trip if I hadn’t been carrying my old Android in my bag. So, if you have an old phone that still works, bring it with you on your travels just in case you break or lose your primary phone. That way, you can easily swap the SIM card out—or get a new SIM card—so you can stay connected.
