I have an embarasing confession: I once was so engrossed in reading a book at the ATL UA Club (!) I lost track of the time and missed my connection to MSP. Lost my F seat on the rebooking, but no rebooking fee by DL (luckily!) Extra 2+ hrs at Hartsfield… but finished my book!

Good idea. It’s also very important to set your watch to the new time zone at the barriving airport in case it has changed. We almost missed our connecting flight due to not setting my watch 1 hour ahead.

If this happens to you, you may want to try the Commuter Alarm app (quick link: http://www.tinyurl.com/comalarm). This thing has woken me up on trains and airport shuttles.
