Have Your Cruise Card Ready
Building on yesterday’s cruise-related tip: This should be common sense but when I go on cruises (like this European river cruise) and I see passengers without their key cards ready to be scanned while leaving or returning to the ship (for security), it drives me batty. If everyone just had their cards out and ready to go, the security lines would move so much more quickly.

FYI: I swiped the cruise card above while aboard the Norwegian Epic.

in order to have the card easily accessible without having to hold it in my hands, I wear it on a lanyard. When I arrive at the computer it’s just a matter of lifting the card to the scanner and continuing on my way.
