How to Know the Exact Time, Anywhere
Wherever you are in the world, you’ll eventually need to know what time it is. There are a number of ways to find out, but to me the easiest—and most accurate—way is by simply pulling up your browser and going to Time.is. As I wrote earlier in the week, I’ve been using Time.is for years. It’s synchronized with an atomic clock—the world’s most accurate source of kept time—so your displayed time will “normally have a precision of 0.02-0.10 seconds.” And Time.is “displays the time for your detected (or chosen) location, not the time according to your computer’s clock.”
On the site, you’ll also find a calendar, sunrise and sunset times, information about today’s holidays and observances, latitudes and longitudes, population numbers, and key information about every country in the world. Pretty cool, eh?
Have you used Time.is? How do you stay on top of time changes?
