Travel Tip of the Day: Lock It, Hide It, Keep It!

Lock it, hide it, keep itLock It, Hide It, Keep It!
My mom taught me this when I was a kid, so it’s second nature to me, but I know way too many people who don’t follow it. It’s a simple rule that the Los Angeles Airport Police Department also suggests following, and it goes like this: lock it, hide it, keep it!

Don’t let your car be a target for thieves. Lock it. Don’t leave anything of value inside—like luggage, purses, cell phones, or GPS—out in the open. Hide them or bring them with you or you may be sorry.
