Parking ticketRead All Parking Signs Twice
Yesterday’s tip was about setting your phone alarm for a few minutes before your parking meter is going to expire to avoid tickets. Today’s tip is also about parking: Before you put money in the meter or park anywhere along the street, always read the parking signs—twice. In southern California, this is especially necessary as you pretty much need a Masters degree to understand them.

The worst parking ticket I ever received was in front of In-N-Out burger near LAX. There’s never enough parking there and one particular area that looks totally legal (because the curb isn’t painted red) set me back $88 as I ran in to grab a $4 burger. And I wasn’t the only one.
