Travel Tip of the Day: Scan Receipts or Documents on the Road

Genius ScanScan Receipts or Documents on the Road
Ever need to scan documents when you’re not near a fax, printer, scanner, or business center? Genius Scan, a free app available on iOS and Android, can help. With Genius Scan, you can simply snap a picture of a document and then send the PDF file wherever you like by email—and just like that, you’ll have a digital version of the document (the image can be edited to minimize distortion).

It’s also a great way to expedite the process of managing expenses since it lets you snap and save picture of receipts. If you do this with every receipt on a business trip, once the trip is over you’ll be left with a PDF document with multiple receipts that you can then send to your accounting department.

FYI: This tip was once a popular Travel App of the Week post.
