It seems to me that most people already love California, or at least some part of it. San Francisco, Yosemite, San Diego, Napa, Los Angeles, Santa Cruz, Mono Lake, Santa Barbara, Sequoia National Park, Lake Tahoe—the list of places worth visiting seems endless.
Nonetheless, Visit California continues to market the state to travelers, and so today we feature its latest 30-second television spot, “Average Joes.” The ad crams a world of backdrops and cameos in, among them: actress January Jones, actor William Shatner, bubble magician (?) Sterling Johnson, climbers Kevin Jorgeson and Tommy Caldwell, snowboarder Shaun White, skateboarder Bob Burnquist, volleyball player Kerri Walsh-Jennings, and football legend Joe Montana.
