Thanks to T+ L magazine for turning me onto this video, which features the world’s tallest waterslide that just opened this past weekend at Schlitterbarn Water Park in Kansas City. It’s called the Verrückt (it means “insane” in German) and is 168 feet and 7 inches high—taller than both Niagara Falls and the Statue of Liberty. Each four-person raft descends at speeds of up to 70 mph! Would you do it?

We love you, Johnny Jet! – Your’s is the best online travel magazine on the net. Thanks to one of your postings about airfare discounts, my husband and I could afford the airfare to go to Europe. Actually, I should say that we couldn’t afford to pass up such a great deal! Also, your travel tips are really educational and interesting, especially when you talk about your own experiences. By the way, I get your emails both at home and at work. I wouldn’t like to miss some important travel news (Did I mention that we are going to Europe..hee, hee!) Thank you!
