Travel Website of the Week: StatusMatcher

StatusMatcherStatusMatcher has been around since 2007 but I was only just turned onto it by my buddy ThePointsGuy. The concept is simple: maximizing the use of loyalty programs. Through experimentation the founder realized that status levels, and the valuable benefits they come with, could be transferred from one travel firm to another. So the goal of the site is to share this ability to transfer status levels with other frequent travelers, and to learn about others’ experiences with this process. The site focuses on airlines, hotels and rental car firms worldwide.
