Each Friday, we feature a reader-submitted tip as our Travel Tip of the Day. This week’s tip comes from my friend Michelle K., who suggests looking to TSA on Instagram for help:
“My tip today would be for people to follow the TSA on Instagram (tsa)—at times funny, scary, but always very informative.”
I’ve featured the TSA’s Instagram handle before but never as a tip. It’s a good source of travel help, as seen around July 4 this year. The TSA is also great on Twitter, as Chrissy Teigen once found out. Thanks, Michelle!
Also: Michelle noted in her email that the guy who ran the TSA’s account on Instagram—once ranked the fourth-best account on all of Instagram by Rolling Stone—sadly passed away in October. “Blogger Bob,” as he was known, will be missed.
