I’ve been fortunate to travel to Japan a handful of times (including last month), and each time before I go I brush up on my local etiquette. As in many places, what might be normal in the U.S. or other countries often isn’t okay in Japan. For example, you don’t tip in Japan, and you don’t eat while walking down the street.

This popular English vlogger who lives in Japan created an informative vlog with 12 things not to do in Japan. The first 90 seconds of his video were a little annoying to me, so I would fast-forward through that, but the rest of the advice is spot-on.
