One of the worst parts of traveling for business is dining out alone – especially for women. That’s why this new website created by Cressida Howard, of Gloucestershire, England, came up with the idea of a website where women can post invites and make plans to dine together. Men are not allowed because she says they have no problem dining alone. Plus, if she did it would be labeled as a dating site. I think it’s a good idea but it will be interesting to see if it becomes a dating site for lesbians. I think everyone’s best option for not dining alone is asking their friends on Facebook if they will be in the same place or if they have any local friends they can introduce you to. If that fails, grab a book, magazine, newspaper or iPad and tell the maître d “party of one.”
Bonus website: BTW: If you think I travel a lot… check out Hillary Rodham Clinton who is now the most-traveled Secretary of State in terms of countries visited.
