Where are Americans traveling for Valentine’s Day next Wednesday? In many case they’re staying home, of course, but many are hitting the road. According to data culled by Allianz Global Assistance, New York City and Cancun are the top domestic and international destinations for one-night-minimum V-Day stays, respectively.
The full lists in both categories:
“It is always interesting to see where our customers are traveling to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Some are after beach vacations, while other couples are looking for cultural getaways,” said Daniel Durazo, director of communications for Allianz Global Assistance USA. “No matter the couple, those traveling domestically or internationally should consider protecting their investment with travel insurance. The right travel insurance policy can provide peace of mind with coverage and assistance for many unexpected events, allowing travelers to unwind and focus on each other on Valentine’s Day.”
