Believe it or not, Thanksgiving is just over two weeks away. If you’ll be flying for the holiday, you’ve likely already purchased you flights (but if not, see this post on finding cheap Thanksgiving flights). You also know to expect congestion at the airports—but how much congestion exactly?

AirHelp, a tool that helps flyers collect compensation for delayed and canceled flights, recently looked at data from Thanksgiving last year to identify the airports and routes that were most disrupted last Thanksgiving travel season. Here, in the hope that it helps you during this year’s Thanksgiving travel season, is that info:

Airports with the most disruptions

  1. Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD): 1,130 flights
  2. Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL): 960 flights
  3. San Francisco International Airport (SFO): 870 flights
  4. Los Angeles International Airport (LAX): 650 flights
  5. Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR): 610 flights
  6. Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW): 600 flights
  7. Boston Logan International Airport (BOS): 550 flights
  8. Denver International Airport (DEN): 530 flights
  9. Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT): 490 flights
  10. John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK): 480 flights
