An extensive exercise room overlooks the Atlantic Ocean

Each Friday, we feature a reader-submitted tip as our Travel Tip of the Day. This week’s tip comes from reader Jeff M., who says:

“You can get bottled water at most hotels in the gym, even if they are charging a lot for it in the rooms. Must be an insurance thing to provide hydration and since there are no drinking fountains there, they use dispensers.”

A clever idea (though probably not something to abuse). Thanks, Jeff!

FYI: The fantastic gym above is found at the property written up here, which is now the Carillon Miami Beach.

I have done this and it works. They often have a water and I refill my water when I finish my exercise.

I have often refilled my water bottle when I have finished exercise. Don’t think it is a big deal with the hotels. We spend enough money to cover a bottle of water.
