Security line at LAX

Ask If There Are More Security Checkpoints
My buddy Ramsey (@DailyTravelTips) recently tweeted a tip that I always consider but had never thought to share—for some strange reason. But Ramsey’s right: “Many airports have more than one security checkpoint. Ask if another has shorter lines. You might save time!”

Great tip. Portland, OR – my home airport – has two security lines and one is almost always significantly shorter. I know this – but visitors won’t and it’s not obvious by looking that you can access all gates from either security point.
