LAX board game

I know most people hate Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) because of the traffic and never-ending construction. During peak times, I’m one of those haters as it’s taken me more than 30 minutes just to enter the airport!

However, when there’s not a lot of traffic during off-peak times I absolutely love it. In fact, when I’m asked what my favorite U.S. airport is, I almost always say LAX because I know it so well, I don’t live far from it, Tom Bradley International Terminal is beautiful, all of the terminals have CLEAR, you can travel pretty much anywhere in the world from it in two flights, you can spot a celebrity pretty much every day, there are great lounges, and in recent years they’ve started installing local shops and restaurants.

I’m such a fan that I was even asked (and paid) to make a commercial for LAX in 2015. Check it out below:

Before 9/11 I used to drive around LAX for fun just to plane-spot. But after 9/11 I pretty much stopped doing the drive-by because the cops came out in a big way. These days they’re constantly pulling people over for traffic or parking violations so it’s just not worth it.

Anyway, since I haven’t been to LAX in almost two months I’m starting to get withdrawals ?. That’s why this free, creative, print-at-home LAX board game is a great way for travelers to pass time during the stay-at-home order. Pretty creative, eh? Let me know what you think of it in the comments!

More LAX (beyond the LAX board game)

When the stay-at-home order lifts and people start traveling again, don’t forget to check out my guide on what to do when you have a long layover at LAX. Oh, and check out this fun YouTube video I shot with my buddy Lee Abbamonte for Allianz about laying-over at LAX:
