The Benefits of the Marriott Rewards Premier Plus Credit Card

The Premier Plus card offers the ability to earn even more rewards and benefits. Compared to the other programs, this new Marriott Premier Plus card offers some of the highest rewards including a 100,000 points limited time offer. Some of these include:

  • 6 points per $1 spent at participating Marriott & SPG hotels
  • 2 points per $1 spent anywhere else
  • Free night at a Marriott hotel after your card anniversary (up to 35,000 points)
  • Zero foreign transaction fees
  • Free premium wifi access in hotel rooms (beginning later this summer)
  • New cardmembers can earn 100,000 points for enrolling after spending $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening (limited-time offer)
  • Automatic Silver Elite Status each account anniversary year
  • Unlimited Marriott Rewards points and Free Night Stays earned faster
  • A path to Gold Status when $35,000 is spent each year

Additionally, Chase-Marriott cardholders will earn 15 Elite Night Credits, starting in 2019. These credits will help members achieve the next Elite status level. Furthermore, cardmembers will have the ability to attend exclusive events such as the Kentucky Derby or a foodie escape to the Bahamas.

Marriott has nearly 6,500 hotel properties and nearly 30 brands to choose from, located all over the world. These include Sheraton, Westin, and W Hotels worldwide. This card does have a $95 annual fee. However, compared to all of the benefits, the $95 is a relatively low price to pay.

More Value With The Marriott Rewards Premier Plus Credit Card

In addition to the new Marriott Premier Plus credit card, Marriott has also merged their rewards programs – Marriott Rewards, Ritz-Carlton Rewards, and Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG). Because of this, the Marriott Rewards Premier Plus Credit Card is a new credit card that’s worth considering.
