When I entered King’s Cross Station in London early one morning to catch a high-speed train to Paris, I was perhaps a little too tired to be excited. But under the groggy cloud that trailed me, I was more excited than I’d been my whole trip.

I was going to be in Paris, the one place I wanted to visit more than any other. The Eurostar train I took was clean and comfortable, and I slept for a majority of the two and a half hour trip, but I was awake as we pulled into the center of Paris where I disembarked for my too brief visit to the city of lights.

I couldn’t have asked for a more convenient and affordable way to travel, and now, Rail Europe Inc., “the North American leader in European rail travel,” has several offers for customers to make their own European adventures easy and memorable this season.

Have you ever tried to book the same journeys described above on the websites of the national rail providers? What did you think?

I’ve done both and they both were good. When booking a ticket in person you just need to allow plenty of time for a long slow line.
