Connecting doorsEach Friday, we feature a reader-submitted tip as our Travel Tip of the Day. This week’s tip comes from reader Sandra, who continues the conversation on hotel rooms with connecting doors (see Wednesday’s tip and Tuesday’s tip):

“I generally turn on the TV (even if I’m not going to be watching it) while I make phone calls or have conversations I don’t want overheard.”

Simple, and probably effective. Thanks, Sandra!

Agree with the TV to add background, but have also used the TV on to have a light on when U return to a room and can’t find light switches in a strange room. Also keep the TV on so folks aren’t sure if you are in or out of said room.
