Make sure your rental car Is good to go before you need itEach Friday, we feature a reader-submitted tip as our Travel Tip of the Day. This week’s tip comes from my buddy Dan Nainan, who says:

“If you have a rental car that is just sitting for days (like ours is in Martinique at the moment), it’s always a good idea to check the day before you need it to make sure that the battery hasn’t died (or the car hasn’t been stolen), or anything else…we have an early flight out of here tomorrow morning and I just went to the parking lot to doublecheck that the car is fully operational.”

Thanks, Dan!
