Test the hairdryer before you use itEach Friday, we feature a reader-submitted tip as our Travel Tip of the Day. This week’s tip comes from reader Lee L., who says:

“Check the power of the hairdryer in your room if you plan to dry/style your hair after a shower. Often the hairdryer is lower power than you may be accustomed to and it will take MUCH longer to dry. If you have an early appointment or plane to catch you will need to budget extra time if your hotel hairdryer is one of the low-power variety. (I often find these in European hotels.)”

A good one, although I don’t have enough hair to use one. But my wife would definitely agree, which is why she now brings her own. Thanks, Lee!
