It’s quite remarkable that Amazon has turned Amazon Prime Day (which is today and tomorrow) into a huge shopping event in the middle of July. In just a few years, it’s gained so much traction that it’s now on track to be bigger than Black Friday.
In fact, Amazon isn’t the only store offering deep discounts in July, and even today. According to an ABC News segment I watched on the local L.A. news, more than 250 merchants are now offering their own July sales, including Macy’s and Target. I’d definitely compare prices to find out which seller has the cheapest deal, but if you’re an Amazon Prime member, you should consider taking advantage of the Prime Day deals today and tomorrow. I’m going to be doing some Christmas shopping today. Heck, I even bought an Instant Pot Duo 6-Quart last night for $49 (down from $99), and now I’m debating whether I should buy a Dyson space heater/fan for $200 off.
I’m not much of a shopper, but I do get excited over a good deal, which is why I’ve put together the Amazon Prime Day deals below that should get shoppers that travel excited:
1. Save up to 72% on Samsonite luggage
2. Save up to 68% on select SanDisk and WD storage and memory products
3. Save on an Echo Dot
4. Save up to 31% on Bose headphones
5. Save 53% on Beats Solo3 matte black wireless headphones
6. Save up to 43% on Anker PowerCore portable chargers
7. Save 43% on a Lifestraw personal water filter
8. Save up to 40% on outdoor essentials from CamelBak, Marmot, Columbia, Pure Fishing, and ExOfficio
9. Save 55% on Sony headphones
10. Save 20% on a TOPOINT Bluetooth-powered eye mask with wireless headphones
Also, at Whole Foods: If you shop at Whole Foods and spend at least $10, you’ll get $10 off to use on Amazon Prime Day. Just download the Whole Foods app and link it to your Prime membership.
