Disgruntled Hotel Guest Crashes Pickup Truck Through Hotel
A Texas man drove his pickup truck through the lobby of the Comfort Inn and Suites in Alva, Oklahoma, just missing the two women behind the front desk. The dramatic security camera video shows John Edward Parsley, 62, of Gonzalez, Texas, talking to a police officer outside the hotel before getting into his GMC pickup and driving right through the front entrance. According to USA Today the incident was the result of a billing dispute because Parsley’s credit card had been declined twice and he’d been forced to pay cash for two nights at the hotel.
“Police said Parsley told the staff that he was going to “run his truck over them and the property.” Parsley told police he crashed the truck because hotel employees “thought he was bluffing, and he proved he wasn’t.”
