Short bio: Heather Greenwood Davis is a Contributing Editor and on-air storyteller for National Geographic, and a Feature Writer with The Globe and Mail. Her work appears regularly in a host of national and international publications including Smarter Travel, Ensemble Vacations, Travel Age West, Family Getaways, Canadian Geographic, Canadian Traveller and others. Heather is also a popular media personality who appears on television stations across North America. She is the resident travel expert on The Social – a national daily lifestyle show – and co-host of Get, Set, Go! on CHCH TV.

She and her family were named National Geographic “Travelers of the Year” in 2012 after the family spent a year (her boys were just 6 and 8 -years old at the time) travelling to 29 countries on six continents and sharing their insights through articles and social media.

Heather is a founding Board of Advisory member of the Family Travel Association, and a member of NATJA, TMAC and SATW. Last, but not least, she is the voice behind – a 10-year old, international, family travel blog that features the adventures she takes with (and without) her husband Ish and their two sons, Ethan and Cameron.
