What are the world's cleanest airlines?

At the end of 2018, Skytrax announced the winners of its World Airline Awards, the annual list of honors determined via the “world’s largest airline passenger satisfaction survey.” One of the categories in which airlines were graded was airline cabin cleanliness, and in that category Japan’s All Nipon Airways (ANA) received top honors. ANA was followed by EVA Air, Asiana Airlines, Singapore Airlines, and Japan Airlines in the top five. The top 30 cleanest airlines, by Skytrax’s measure, are listed here. As you’ll see, there’s not one U.S. airline in the top 30! I’m not surprised. You?
